Walled Lake High School Class of 67, 68, 69
Stories (You can add a message of your own at the bottom of this page)
Three guys carrying another guy (spouting water out of his mouth! :) above their heads pass the study hall room??! Ha!

Ok, does anyone remember this?  Ab'so'lutely hysterical!  I think it was 66-67 (our junior year).   Yeah truly, not kidding here!  Three guys (can't remember who, but definately 'Jocks'), carrying this one guy (maybe Mark Ridley??) high up over their shoulders, so we could see him in the upper windows of this study hall room!

Seriously! While the guy being carried (who had filled his mouth with water from the drinking fountain), acted like he was swimming, with his arms (the breast stroke:) and spouting the water out of his mouth, like a fish.  I could not stop laughing, the whole room was, as the teacher flew out of the room to chase them down and we all roared in hysterical laughter.

I think it was around the same week that the assistant principal threatened to suspend me for three days for wearing a mini skirt and black & white high top tennis shoes to school.  Luckily, I brought a  change of clothes.  A "sweet little", appro' blouse ( tiny blue flowers) and some "sweet little" matching navy blue Keds tennies and then rolled my "mini" skirt (not!:) back down to the appropriate length ("just above the knee a touch!).  SO I was able to change and keep myself outa hot water, by the skin of me teeth...(gosh I guess I just loved being in hot water! : )!

I could not help it, it was just SO darned fun to make folks laugh!  If I had stayed in Mich. no doubt I would have ended up at Mark's Comedy Castle  (instead I became a teacher! Ha!  But not for long, the other teachers thought I was just Sooo "out there".  Oh yeah, 'Michigan out there' (the best kind!)

Sigh....dem da days!  Uh...on second thought...dees da days! Yeah...time to go fly some more airplanes off the Astoria tower! Grin.

2007 Reunion

I would like to thank everyone who worked on the planning and putting the reunion together for a wonderful week-end.  It took a lot of time and effort and I can say you really pulled it off.  It was great to see everyone and hear what was happening with them.  And for all the guys that came from out of town, you are real "Vikings", corny I know but I had to say it.

Again thank you for a great party!!  Now who is going to start on the next one?
