Maybe when I grow up I'll figure out what I'm going to do with my life. After U of M I taught music and drama at Lake Michigan College in Benton Harbor for three years. Then I got married and went to seminary in Massachusetts. After seminary I worked at two churches in the Champaign-Urbana area of Illinois and studied conducting at U of I.

Then in '87we moved back to Michigan where I worked part-time at a church in Ann Arbor and later full-time at an church in Lansing while beginning a professional singing career. In '93 I left church work to pursue my singing career, traveling around the country a lot. In '02 I was tired of the travel and disconnection with family, so returned to the pastorate.

Presently, I'm the part-time pastor of Northside Community Church in Ann Arbor while continuing to do some singing and also tuning pianos around the Ann Arbor-Brighton-Detroit area. My wife, Carolyn, teaches high school science in Flat Rock. Our son, Will, is a junior at EMU in Urban Planning, and our daughter, Liz, is a junior at Ann Arbor Huron H.S.

Don't know yet if I'll make it in September. Hope so. Later, y'all!

[FYI, brother Carl is still on the radio in Chicago (WFMT - 98.7 FM) and announcing for both the game and the marching band at U of Michigan football games.]
